The market is open!
The much needed rain has erased the losses in our neighboring lakes. It has also helped all our spring seeds sprout.
Look for some baby veggies this week along with plenty of favorites.

We will be getting milk this week.

Don’t forget to reserve your half hog. They will not be available for much longer.

I do not think I am up to the milk run this week. While I have been improving I am still having difficulties when I sit in any position for any length of time. I think it is going to be a few weeks longer.

The market picking are looking nice this week. While our garden is going through a replant, Taylorganic has lots of goodies. We will have some great mushrooms.

The Green Market Opens Saturday!

We are getting close to transplanting time. I have plants coming in tomorrow. With the planned rain we hope to make Saturday afternoon and Sunday our big days. I would love to see all of you who shared a desire to lend a hand. Just shoot me an email and I’ll give you our address.

The market is loaded with goodies. We have lots of mushrooms this week. Along with beets, carrots, cabbages, kohlrabi, onions, chard, kale, radishes, lettuce and more.

Taylorganic Farm has lots of pork on sale this week.

We will be making our run to Milkyway Farm next week.

I am slowly getting better. I hope to be back on my feet in the next few weeks.

The gardens are showing their winter age. They are slow to regrow but we have plenty to go round; lots of lettuce, collards, kale, chard, turnips, mustard, mushrooms and other garden goodies.

Neil still has some tasty honey and Flat Creek Lodge cheese looks better than ever. We also have some great pork products available; chops, ribs, ham, roast, tenderloin, ground pork and more.

If you are interested in ordering half of a heritage hog don’t delay. We only have 6 more available.

We have a volunteer for the milk run this week so remember to add you order to the comments section of your order.

Grass fed beef for Saturday


I forgot to mention we are going to have some grass feed beef available for Saturdays market.
Farm House Beef will be at Piedmont Park from 9-10:30.

You can let me know what you would like and ill Handel the logistics or you can talk with them.

They have great prices and a fantastic selection.

The ground beef is 6.15 per lb
Stew beef is 6.35
Plus sales tax on these items so we are
Suggesting 6.75 to cover

The market is open and ready for orders.

The garden goodies are holding on strong. My son and nephew have been busy planting row after row. We have all kinds of new sprouts. It will be a while but we have high hopes.
Meanwhile we have lots of lettuce, carrots, beets, radishes, kale, collards, kohlrabi, turnips, mustard and more.

We were able to pick up a few pigs from the processor Saturday so we are stocked up are ready for your orders.
We have some wonderful ground pork to go along with; shanks, hocks, hams, should roast, tenderloin roast, chops and ribs.
We also have some nice looking pork fat for rendering.

If you are considering a heritage hog don’t delay. They will not last long.
