I hope this finds you all doing well.
As I send this email I am watching 3 sows nurse their litters as another begging the labor process. It is kinda cool watching life on a farm evolve.
That brings me to the hog share issue. We currently have two 1/2 hog shares available for delivery and 3 1/4 shares. The pork is fantastic. The 1/2 share is ~ 80lbs of meat and the 1/4 share is ~ 40lbs. We will begin taking reservations in the next few weeks for our shares in October.
Now to the produce, we have lots available. The heirloom tomatoes look fantastic. We will also have some great sweet corn from Green Glades Dairy this week.
